"We were brand new to boating with our first used boat. We brought it in to Ken and Todd to get it ready for the water and found out there were a few unexpected problems. Not only did the boys here at Custom Marine treat us with respect, but they also took the time to explain what was necessary, and searched out the best and most cost effective alternatives. After all was said and done we came to pick up our boat expecting a bill that was several thousand over the original quote considering the extra work and problems, and were relieved to find it was only a couple hundred more than the original quote. Both Ken and Todd, the only two my husband and I have had the pleasure of dealing with so far, have been extraordinary to deal with, and a pleasure to talk to and learn from. Todd even came out after we launched and I flooded the engine and couldn't get it to start, and got us running, put her in the slip and got us back on track. The guys here have our gratitude and loyalty, this is the shop we'll call whenever we need something -- and hey, it's a boat, that's about every week."

"To Ken, Todd, and Scott. We have been lucky enough to grow up on the Illinois River and have had the pleasure for years to enjoy recreational boating. In 2006 we found and experienced the personal family atmosphere and professionalism that is not easily found in business today at Custom Marine. The whole crew at Custom Marine has given personal advise when we have asked questions as we ventured into owning our own watercraft. After going through a couple of used pieces of equipment ..... We took the plunge and bought a brand new Ebbtide 2440 Z-trak from ( what we like to call ) "Our own Marina Dealership" They have treated us like family, offered great guidance during the purchase of a brand new boat that we shall enjoy for years and years to come. I live in Naperville and there are a number of marine service centers much closer to me but Custom Marine is well worth the hour drive to have my boat serviced. "In the fall of 2008 I paid someone to winterize my baby, a 1978 Skiffcraft. It only had 900 hrs. on it and I hoped to get many more great years out of her. I was in another state most of the fall and to my horor it froze because the guy forgot. I will never trust that to someone else agian. Now, we all know the sick feeling that comes with getting a boat, ATV, or RV serviced for something major. I needed a complete repower on this boat and fortunately for me a friend told me about Custom Marine. They didn't treat me like an idiot, in fact from the time I walked in the door it was all about the sollution and how they could make it work for me. They stuck to their estimate on the engine and helped us correct some other problems also. The boat runs much better than before and we had it back from them in less than 2 1/2 weeks. Incredible workmanship and value. Give these guys a try. Oh, I forgot to mention that we live 235 mi. from their shop!!! I'll be back. Thanks for everything guys."

"Fell in love with the Caravelle hull and the NO WOOD concept and had to check it out at the boat show in 2007. Todd, with Custom Marine, listened to all my husband's questions and reviews about the boat for a good couple of hours. Todd makes you feel very comfortable and sure you are getting the answers you need to make purchasing a boat exactly what you want. We were able to review every option available and if he wasn't sure, he checked into it and we worked thru every detail. Financing and paperwork was completed and we got the boat. Minor warranty and maintenance all have been done timely and efficiently. LOVE IT... Be sure to wave on the Illinois River as you see us fly by in our 2007 Interceptor."

"Our dealings with Custom Marine for the past four plus years have more than exceeded our expectations. The friendly staff has proven several times that the trust and confidence we put in them was well deserved.
The prices are fair and work is done right the first time, every time! Having a boat out for service in boating season is bad enough but knowing they are going to get it done right and get you back in the water as quickly as possible is terrific.
We've mentioned we only take our boat to Custom for any service and repairs needed and everyone says either they do too or that's where I'm going to next. I can go on, but in case you haven't figured it out yet....we have been thrilled and highly recommend Custom for any boating needs, you'll be treated fairly everytime.
